Launch

The first Bulgarian geostationary communications satellite was Successfully launched by SpaceX on June 23, 2017 at 22.10 GMT from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. BulgariaSat-1 will provide television and communication services directly to homes in the Balkans and other European regions. The satellite is suitable for television and communication services, also BulgariaSat-1 can be used in force majeure – accidents due to natural disasters – earthquakes, storms, floods when land-based networks are not working.
